Body Parts of an insect – A bee is a small Flying insect that has black and yellow stripes. The honeybee body has three main parts, the Head, thorax and abdomen. Other parts of a bee include her antennae, eyes, legs, wings and stinger. Bees flap their wings at 230 beats a second.

A beehive is like our homes. The hive body houses frames with beeswax foundations where the bees live. The queen lives, lays eggs, and raises brood (brood are baby bees) in the hive body, and the bees store honey and pollen for the colony here. Bottom board: The screened board acts as the hive floor. Hive stand: Any table/stand that keeps the hive off the ground, providing insulation

Bees work somewhat like people do in the fact that they get up in the morning every day to go to work in order to collect Pollen and nectar from flowers to make honey that is their food. Some bees stay home to take care of the baby bees like moms and dads do. They’ll feed the babies until they are old enough to go out into the world and provide for the hive/their family.

God put bees on this earth for one of the most important jobs. This job of the honeybee is to pollinate all flowers of plants so those plants will make fruit that in turn gives us our food such as Apples, Peaches, pears, watermelon, tomatoes, beans and many other fruits and vegetables we eat. 3 out of 4 bites of food we take we owe to the hard work of the honeybee visiting all these different types of flowers. Gods plan was so divine when he made the honeybee in for us to have our food that even their food, Honey, is food for us! Honey is God’s only true unprocessed sweetener!
